Interview process DevOps Engineer

Introduction

You'll have a 30-min call where you'll meet Marko, our GM & Talent Acquisition Specialist. He will be happy to answer any questions you have and they will also double-check your location, notice period, salary expectations, and any necessary key skills.

Understanding how you work

If we think it's a good match, we'll schedule a 1 hour conversation with José, our DevOps Engineer, and Tiago, our CTO and hopefully your future manager.

During this interview, we'll cover:
Who we are
The role of DevOps Engineer at tymeshift
Your experience and motivation
Your skills and special talents!
Your organizational and problem-solving skills
How you believe you can contribute to tymeshift's growth
Your questions to us — just as important as our evaluation of you is your evaluation of us. We care deeply about making sure the fit is mutual!

We may ask that a portion of this interview is performed over Slack to develop a better understanding of how we'll collaborate together in an asynchronous fashion.

In that case, here are a few things worth knowing in advance:
Slack is our main type of daily communication. That's why we want to make sure there's a smooth flow and great energy while interacting during this interview
There are no right or wrong answers. We're not expecting you to know everything about Tymeshift or WFM. This interview is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and see how the communication flows
Shorter messages keep the momentum going, so avoid longer bits of text
Keep related content threaded whenever possible, and feel free to use and react with emojis Upside-Down FaceParty PopperRocket
And most importantly: remember to have fun!

Offer

The final step is an offer. We'll hop on a call and review it together to make sure everything makes sense and answer any questions you have.
